Support Staff

Education Assistants
Education assistants work closely with and under the supervision of the classroom teacher and the Student Support/Resource teacher. They are not trained teachers and therefore the planning of lessons for students on Individual Education Programs (I.E.P.) is the responsibility of the homeroom teacher in conjunction with the Student Support/Resource Teacher.

Guidance Counsellor/Social Worker
The Guidance Counsellor/Social Worker provides guidance and counselling to students at Otetiskiwin Kiskinwamahtowekamik. He/she acts as a liaison among the partners in students education.

Transportation Drivers
Transportation Drivers are part of our school team. Students are expected to conduct themselves in a polite and safe manner while traveling in the buses.

Custodial and Maintenance Workers
The Custodial and Maintenance workers are part of our school team. Students are expected to treat them with courtesy and respect and to obey instructions that are given.
